Terms of Service
Safety on the water isn't just about technique; it's about clarity, responsibility, and mutual respect. We've designed these terms to ensure every paddler knows what to expect when they join the TideKeep Charters community.
Are you ready to commit to a standard of excellence and safety? By engaging with our services, you're agreeing to the guidelines that keep our nautical expeditions secure for everyone involved.
The Core Agreements
Navigating the legal waters can be complex. We've simplified things here. Detailed content for this section is generated by a dedicated legal process and will be integrated here into the final documentation.
Liability & Physical Risk
Kayaking is an inherently physical activity involving nautical environments that can change rapidly. Our liability waiver isn't just a document; it's an acknowledgment of the respect we owe the sea. We believe that informed paddlers are safe paddlers.
Participation in TideKeep Charters courses requires a signed release. Does this sound formal? Yes, but it's vital for our long-term ability to provide high-level training to the New York community.
Cancellations
We respect your time. We ask that you respect ours. 48-hour notice required for full refunds.
Gear Responsibility
Equipment maintenance is a skill. You'll be responsible for any intentional damage to rental crafts.
Weather Policy
Safety first. We reserve the right to reschedule any expedition if tidal or weather conditions are unsafe.
Medical Fitness
You don't need to be an Olympic athlete. However, you must be in suitable health for nautical physical exertion.
Usage of Services
Access to TideKeep Charters digital platforms and physical workshops is a privilege based on compliance with our conduct codes. We don't tolerate harassment of instructors or fellow students. Nautical traditions are built on the backbone of camaraderie. We're here to learn, and that requires a conducive environment.
